Covocate recognised as Westpac Business of Tomorrow

Covocate are pleased to announce we have been officially recognised as a Westpac Business of Tomorrow 2017.

This prestigious award program recognises Australian businesses demonstrating a record of excellence in providing solutions to the problems of tomorrow. Covocate was nominated and selected out of nearly two thousand applicants for its work to improve recruitment outcomes for both companies and their candidates through its scientifically backed algorithms.

The selection panel acknowledged Covocate’s unique ability to reduce unconscious bias and support sustainable diversity outcomes in the recruitment process.

Co-founder and Director of Science and Psychology Darren Harlock said Covocate was proud to have been recognised in this small group of Australian businesses.

“The Westpac Businesses of Tomorrow is all about recognising the businesses that are going to shape Australia’s future. We are privileged to have been selected in this group for our work to improve hiring outcomes and help businesses to find the right people with the right values.”

Mr Harlock said the awards weren’t just about the value provided to the customer, but also the value the business provides to the community.

“Covocate is all about using tech to improve and streamline recruiting, supporting clients to organically build diverse workforces of the best people for their organisations.”

Winners were independently assessed by Deloitte and an executive selection panel featured many highly experienced business leaders including Gail Kelly and features mentors such as Ita Buttrose and John Eales.
